I began my lacrosse career at 6 years old. I have been playing year round lacrosse since I was in fourth grade, but I also love to play basketball and volleyball. My free time is spent outside playing sports, hiking, making obstacle courses, swimming and climbing with friends and family. We were not brought up with a TV in the house, so I have always been an outdoorsy, active person. I have been fast and strong from the beginning and have used this talent throughout my lacrosse career. I have several academic learning disabilities (Dyslexia and Dyscalculia) that force me to work doubly as hard at school in order to get good grades. I have learned how to navigate the system to get what I need and find creative ways to succeed in school. I work very hard to make sure I get good grades and make all my practices, games and tournaments without fail. Our lacrosse club, Verve Lacrosse, has a strong community service arm to the organization. I volunteer my time coaching, running beginner clinics, organizing book drives, organizing school supply drives, assisting at our free/sponsored team practices, etc. I also am a member of the National Charity League and give back to my community through the NCL. I LOVE wood shop. I have built a table, a Chinese styled box, a large bowl and so much more. I also taught myself how to tap dance by taping legos to the bottom of my shoes and watching YouTube videos.
