I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade, attended TreeLax camps at Stanford to start to build technique and skill, and joined the Tenacity Project in 6th grade. The Tenacity Project has provided me the best possible coaching and development opportunity I could imagine, and in the past couple years I have had the opportunity to compete against some of the top club teams in the nation. The thing I value most is my Lax IQ and I really enjoy the strategic aspects of the game. Lacrosse has taught me important lessons about camaraderie, competition, and self-reflection. On the field I am a confident and aggressive on-ball defender and a big communicator and hyper aware off-ball defender. I also play high school soccer, tennis, run cross country, and I enjoy downhill skiing and backpacking trips when my schedule allows. I volunteer at our local food bank and community garden frequently. Ive been working summers at a preschool with kids from ages 2-5 for the past 4 years. I am taking AP US History and AP Environmental Science this school year along with being chosen for our schools Athletic Directors Advisory Club.
