Recruit Profile
Team first, Positive attitude, Hard working, Student of the game

My family has always been into lacrosse, with two uncles who played at Stony Brook, my mother a standout defender at Acton Boxborough, MA and my Father being honored as the 2018 US Lacrosse Youth Coach of the Year. I knew I would have to at least give it a try. I started playing in 6th grade and soon realized that my family was onto something. Lacrosse is fun! Spring 2018 I was the only freshman selected to play for a combined regional varsity team which covered 4 area high schools. The Lake Samm Eagles. We went to the second round of state playoffs, losing to perennial powerhouse Mercer Island.

Due to the growth of the sport in the region my high school fielded their first ever varsity girls lacrosse program in January 2019. While some players might've been discouraged by a brand-new program, I saw it as an opportunity to create lasting team culture and to grow the sport I Iove. I was unanimously voted team captain for the 2019 (and 2020) season. I also led my team in goals and points (20G,5A). I currently also play for the Seattle Starz 2021 Elite, playing some of the most competitive teams on the east coast. In the 2019-20 fall season we won the 2019 Top Draw tournament championship in Chicago and went undefeated at the IWLCA Presidents Cup: winning against Charlotte Style, Skywalkers MD, Snipers Westchester NY, and Dynamite Philadelphia.

Last fall I joined the cross-country team to improve my fitness and endurance for the spring. I was honored with the team award for Most Improved.

Academically, I push myself with honors and AP classes and have a genuine love of learning. I've taken 9th, 10th and 11th grade honors English courses, AP World History, AP US History, AP Micro and Macro Economics, and Pre-Calculus. Senior year, I am taking UW Composition, AP US Gov, and AP Environmental Science. I'm in the clubs; DECA, National Honor Society (NHS), National English Honor Society, Science NHS, and Link Crew, a leadership program. I am currently working on my Girl Scout Gold Award and have received my Bronze Award for service with Matthews House. I was on the 2017-18 GS Global Action Team where I led a summit on Climate Change. I rejoined this year, to prep for a summit on Global Health.

Ella is a great left-handed, low attacker that likes to work around the crease. Her strong field presence is attributed to her size, power and willingness to go to goal. Additionally, Ella has strong field IQ and is incredibly coachable. She's a wonderful teammate and fantastic young woman.
