My name is Elliott J. Halpern and I'd like to share with you both my athletic as well as academic achievements. I was introduced to lacrosse in the 2nd grade and was placed as a midfielder for my town team, The Spartans where I progressed through 4th grade. At the 5th and 6th grade I had the opportunity to "play up" on Juniors and this is when I began to develop my left hand, simultaneously gaining experience in the attack position, often playing at top left.

Concurrently, other sports such as soccer, football, basketball, mountain biking as well as Krav-Maga made me a stronger, more precise athlete propelling me to compete at a much higher level. While in 8th grade my club team, then Express Coached by Dollar, needed someone to take face offs as our FOGO had been injured. I accepted this opportunity as I was already very effective in the midfielder position. I continued to practice and advance which eventually lead me to being rostered for Express North on their AA team coached by Dee Lawrence.

Excelling at face offs, I continued practicing every day to where presently at Northwest Catholic High School as well as Express North I am the starting FOGO as well as rotate through the mid field lines.

Academics is another strong attribute where I have earned first honors at Northwest Catholic High School for 3 of the 4 quarters of the 2021-2022 school year ultimately finishing with an overall GPA of 3.9 for my freshman and sophomore years combined.
