Elliott Ische
Recruit Profile
Strong lax IQ; Physical, team player with Exceptional stick skills
I started playing Minnetonka association lacrosse the summer following 4th grade and for True Lacrosse Minnesota a year later. I have been a defensive starter and on the man-down units on every team I have played on. I have been a high school varsity defensive starter since the first game of my freshman season. During the 2017 season, I led my team in take aways, was second in ground balls and was voted the Varsity Team Rookie of the Year. Prior to sustaining a season ending hip injury during the state tournament at the end of this year’s high school season, I was matching up against every team’s best offensive player, many of whom are Division 1 commits, holding every one of them below their per game scoring averages. I was selected to the Minneapolis StarTribune All-Metro Second Team, the only sophomore in the top 20 players!
Unfortunately, do to the hip injury, I am unable to participate in any of the summer club or individual events I had planned. I am expected to make a full recovery by the end of summer and will update this as my fall lacrosse schedule is confirmed.
The other high school sport I play is football. I made the freshman and sophomore "A" teams, playing some full back, and starting inside linebacker and was on every special team. I am continually top two in tackles each game and was team captain as a sophomore.
I have also excelled in school. I have been in the highest math, science and language arts classes available. I am currently taking AP Chemistry, Honors Spanish and AP Stats and Calculus. I recently scored a 1400 out of 1520 on the Pre-SAT and a 31 out of 36 on the Pre-ACT.
Outside of school and organized sports, I enjoy mountain biking, snow boarding, snowmobiling, golfing, camping and hiking.
