Recruit Profile
Creative, versatile, consistent, self-motivated, determined yet lighthearted.
I started my lacrosse career in 1st grade and have competitively played for the past six years. In addition to lacrosse, I ran cross country, played basketball and ran track during middle school. In eighth grade, I qualified for the county wide Championship meet and placed first in the 600m run. As a 7th grader I played up for a high school club lacrosse team until I entered high school and joined the Tenacity Elite club. I made varsity lacrosse as a freshman and started the whole season. At the end of the season, I was voted onto 1st team All-League in the Bay Area West Conference (only freshman) and awarded most hardworking by my teammates. Besides lacrosse, I also play varsity basketball, varsity tennis and ran varsity cross country freshman year. In total, 6 seasons of varsity sports. Freshman year, working hard to grow as a basketball player, I was voted most improved. Academically, I was the winner of the Marin County Poetry contest out of 1000+ entries as a freshman. Taking seven classes with no free block and sports throughout Freshman and Sophomore year, I was able to develop better time management skills. This year I was accepted into a highly selective program called the Marin Academy Research Collaborative (MARC), in which we spend a total of two years developing research questions, conducting literature reviews, working with experts, collecting and analyzing data, and publicly presenting our project at the end of senior year. I am currently taking honors Chinese, Environmental Science, English, History and MARC. Outside of school, I am a Teen Ambassador for One Love, working to educate my peers about unhealthy versus healthy relationships. I also love to surf, skateboard, sew, juggle, and play with my two dogs.
