Emerson (Emmie) Strine
Recruit Profile
Utility player. Coachable. Work horse. Strong Lax IQ. Fitness Junkie. Midfield. Draw Control Specialist. Dedicated athlete. Always looking to improve. Leader. Friend. Team player.
First and foremost, I love this game. I have been playing lacrosse since 3rd grade and began participating in club lacrosse in 6th grade. Prior to joining a club team, I played for my local youth league on the highest level team and was continually one of the top scorers each season. My coaches for Pride 2024 White rely on me to play the majority of every game as my stamina and athleticism allows me to play in almost every position. I pride myself by continually to improve my athleticism, stick work and lacrosse IQ. I am an avid user of our Peloton program with both the bike and treadmill and the various strength workouts provided by the program. I transferred my sophomore year to James Madison HS in Vienna, VA where I plan to continue as an honor role student-athlete on the varsity team. In my spare time, I volunteer for a local organization called BRAWS which provides resources to women in need. I was recently recognized and given an award by the mayor of my town for my volunteer service.

Emmie has been one of my favorite players to coach and watch grow. She is coachable and talented. She is fast and scrappy on the draw and circle and is a key player in the mid field/transition game. Emmie has grown into a being a top scorer on the team. Her timing when cutting for her teammates to feed her and have her finish has been instrumental this season. She is a great target in the fan. Great player, teammate and person!

Can’t say enough good things about Emmie, great kid, talented player. Has a real gift for finding the open space, hard worker, kind of player you can put anywhere and she will be successful.
