Emi is a standout player for True Pittsburgh 2023 state team but she also excels in the classroom. She is very coachable and leads by example. Emi makes an impact on the field wherever she is. She is constantly winning the draws and using her speed in the midfield to get the ball down to the offensive end. Any coach would be happy to have her a part of their program. Emi will play anywhere on the field- she excels in the midfield with her speed, aggression and high field IQ. Emi thrives off of learning new skills and taking advantage of putting the work in to get better. Over the past year Emi has taken a lot of younger players under her wing and has taught players how to play the game and has helped so many young youth players over the years. Emi has plenty of great qualities about her but she is a leader, coachable and versatile and will make an impact on any program!

Emilia "Emi" is a 2nd year Varsity letter winner, finishing her sophomore year with Hampton High School in 2021. Emi played in all 19 of our 2021 season games, starting at Center or Middie for all but 4 games. A true middie at heart, Emi alternated between Middie/Center and executed that position as well as low Attack for us this year based on returning upperclassmen Varsity player positions. After losing her freshman season due to COVID-19, Emi immediately made an impact on our roster and ended the season as 3rd leading scorer and 3rd leading points scorer with 25 goals and 34 total points. She was 2nd on the roster for caused turnovers (28), 2nd in draw control (48), and 2nd in competitive ground balls won (59), trailing a senior starter in each category, cementing her ability to lead the team dramatically next season. Emi is a hustler and eager to master new skills. She ran a 6:38 timed mile at 2021 tryouts and has a wicked shot with impressive shot placement. She works consistently on her game year-round, traveling with True Lacrosse PA Club Lax and challenging herself at competitive collegiate lacrosse clinics and camps.
