I started lacrosse in elementary, playing for rec then playing School and Club programs (Ultimate Blue NJ). Made Varsity freshman year at Princeton Day School. Now I am a sophomore at Nichols School in Buffalo and joined a new Club team, Stampede's Next Level lacrosse. On Defense, I utilize my strength, focused and aggressive style of play to pressure players on one-one-ones or settled to force turn-overs. As a fast defender, I read and anticipate, allowing disruption of play, interceptions, forcing turnovers. I am able to offer a quick transition out, leveraging my speed and accuracy to make a smart transition play. The best defense works as a stretchy fabric and I work hard with my teammates to communicate and connect to make sure we have no holes! I play and start on our Varsity field hockey, where we made County and State finals. I am in Honors Math and French. I am also a twin, a food blogger (www.kitchen-twins.com), and a published cookbook author (The Teen Kitchen by Emily and Lyla Allen) and often appear on various TV food programs such as Rachael Ray, Pickler & Ben and Today.
