I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade as a way to put myself out there and for something to do. I instantly fell in love with the sport as I started my lacrosse career on defense. After a few years, I followed in a friend's footsteps as I ventured out to playing goalie, where I found my true passion for the sport. I instantly grew into a better person, both on and off the field, as playing goalie increased my athletic ability, my confidence, and my self esteem. As of now, my main focus is playing goalie but I am more than willing and able to play defense, or where ever I am needed, for the benefit of my team. I have also played other sports that have contributed to who I am today. I played soccer for about 10 years, and got my black belt in Taekwondo after 3 years of training, and then continued learning and teaching for another 4 and a half. I no longer do either as I focused in on school and lacrosse but appreciate what they have given me. I also recently joined the school bowling team, and we were second place in our 2020 sectionals. I am currently in 2 AP classes, AP World History and AP Chemistry, and I plan on taking 4 in my junior year: AP Statistics, AP English 11, AP Biology, and AP US History, along with my 5th year of studying ASL.
