I started playing lacrosse at 10 as a field player and goalie. I became strictly goalie playing for my towns travel team in 7th and 8th grade. Freshman year I was the starting JV goalie and later that season was pulled up to be the varsity back up. My sophomore year of high school I became the varsity starting goalie. I am comfortable in the goal and having to make quick explosive reactions and decisions. I also wrestle for my high school, and have been a varsity starter the past two years competing primarily against male opponents. I have wrestled since I was 7. Wrestling has helped my ability in lacrosse to be fearless and not afraid to take chances when necessary. Being a multi sport athlete has helped me to condition my body physically and mentally. Academically I am an honor role student in multiple AP and honors courses. I am interested in my science courses and am considering a career in the medical field. I have experience as a youth goalie coach, and I have volunteered at youth sports clinics through my high school team.
