Recruit Profile
Strategic and thoughtful- strong lacrosse IQ. Creative player with and without the ball, especially around the crease. Great leader and teammate!

I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade as a defender, and switched over to attack around 8th grade. I am a very versatile player who is always ready to go wherever I am needed on the field. On attack, I am calm and thoughtful, always analyzing every situation from above the 12 or behind the crease. I specialize in crease rolls and I get my shots off in creative ways.

Currently, I am a senior in high school, and have made the varsity roster all 3 years. Unfortunately, freshman year (2018) I tore my right ACL, and sophomore year (2019) I tore my left ACL, missing 4 seasons total. Getting surgeries, rebuilding my muscles, and being unable to play were devastating, but it has fueled my determination to get better and stronger at the sport. When returning to play, I've aimed not only to catch up with my peers, but exceed expectations. I've worked hard at every club season and weight/speed training in the offseason.

Freshman year, I was chosen to participate in the National Lacrosse Classic. In the 2016/2017 Fall/Winter, I was awarded Team Defensive MVP. In the 2020 summer season I was awarded New Wave's Heart and Hustle Award for my team. In school, I have a non-weighted 3.9 GPA and weighted 4.3 GPA. I've taken AP US Government, AP Spanish, AP English Language and Composition, and various honors classes. I am Vice President of our school's National Honors Society, and have been offered numerous leadership positions throughout my high school career. I have a political background as well, as I work with March For Our Lives, an organization to end gun violence, and I helped start and lead the Empowerment Club at our school. I've helped students register to vote, and advocate for women's and minorities' rights with our club. Additionally, I've worked with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Students of the Year Program, to raise money for blood cancer research.

Now that I am fully back and playing, I strive to be the ultimate teammate. I have strong communication skills and work well with and leading others. I am strategic on attack, and create opportunities for myself and teammates with dodges, fakes, and picks. I have an eye for assists and creating opportunities, which I have learned from coaching lacrosse and watching teammates play when I was injured.
