I first started playing lacrosse in 8th grade. In that year, I learned how much I love playing defense and I really started practicing for hours a day, by myself, after my first practice. In the summer before freshman year, I tried out for a local club team, Storm Club Lacrosse, and I instantly developed many new skills: learning how to comfortably use my left and right hands, setting picks, and especially communicating more and louder. Also, I created amazing friendships with my teammates that I value a lot. In my academics, I am very hard-working and I make sure I am studying to the best of my ability. I am involved in Best Buddies, where I am able to create multiple friendships, and New England Math League, where I go after school once a month to solve advanced math problems to the best of my ability.
