Thank you for viewing my profile! I am a reclassed boarding student at The Hill School, a top academic and athletic prep school located in Pottstown, PA, where I recently completed my junior year and my first year at Hill.

I am a 5-8 starting defender on Hill's varsity lacrosse team. This season, we traveled to New Hampshire, Connecticut and Virginia for games against strong opponents and finished with a 5-4 record. Our future is bright as we are young (we lose just two seniors!) and hungry, and with a large group of new players, we grew together so much this season. I cant wait for next year!

My Hill coach describes me as "a tenacious, committed, dynamic athlete who grew with every training this year. [Emma] has established herself as a dominant defender who plays virtually every minute in a calm and consistent fashion. She is our go-to utility player when roving or locking on. Most importantly, she is an outstanding teammate in our program by lending an ear or a laugh whenever needed." [Emma] leads by example with her never quit mentality." At Hill, I also play varsity water polo in the fall and participate in the strength and conditioning program during the winter. I played water polo for the first time last fall and, although we were unable to play games because of Hills COVID-19 protocols, I greatly enjoyed the challenge of learning a new (and strenuous!) sport.

In the classroom, my schedule included Advanced Topics in Environmental Science, English, Integrated Mathematics, Journalism, Spanish and U.S. History, and I am participating in a college seminar. This is my first year at Hill, and I have applied for several leadership positions for next year.

I come to Hill from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA, where I was to be a three-year varsity lacrosse player before COVID-19 disrupted the spring 2020 season. I was the captain of the junior varsity team as a freshman, when I was double-rostered. Academically, I was an honor roll student who had earned a 3.9 GPA, with several honors and AP classes. Most notably, I was inducted into the National Honor Society.

Outside of school, I work as a server at an independent living facility for the elderly, which I love. I have a special bond with the residents; we make TikToks together, laugh often and I listen to stories about their lives and the wisdom they share with me. Its like I have 100 additional grandparents!

I play club lacrosse for True PA Valley Lacrosse and am looking forward to a strong summer tournament schedule playing against some excellent competition.
