I am a highly goal-oriented student athlete. I started playing lacrosse at age 11 and started swimming competitively at age 9. I have always been a hard working, fast and fit athlete. In addition to lacrosse and swim, I have competed in multiple triathlons finishing at the top each time. I have played on summer and fall lacrosse tournament teams for the last three years. I was MVP and Co-Captain of my high school lacrosse team my sophomore year. Because of my fitness, I am able to add value as a midfielder by providing aggressive and dependable defense where other midfielders run out of gas, and also execute swift offensive transitions to ensure ball control and set up plays. In taking draws, my teammates and I take pride achieving ball control through my strong, well-placed draws.

As a student, I take all honor courses and AP courses and have a 4.4 weighted GPA. I have already earned college credit certifications for two AP courses taken during my freshman and sophomore years, and I am an inaugural member of my high schools selective AP Capstone Program which started this year. In this program, I am presently taking two AP courses. I was recently inducted into five high school honor societies, including National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, English National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta math honor society. I was the only student last year to take double math courses (I took geometry honors and Algebra II honors) so I could make room to take AP calculus during my senior year.

In addition to school and sports, I have worked part-time at a local ice cream shop for the last two years where I was entrusted to work on my own and close up at night. I also enjoy volunteering my time to a local community organization that strives to feed kids and their families who do not know where their next meal will come from. I also volunteer my time at school by serving as a Student Ambassador and participate in school-sponsored volunteer events at local charities for the homeless and mentally ill.
