Although I officially started playing Lacrosse at age five, this sport has been a part of me since I was a toddler! Lacrosse is a long time family favorite! I joined a club team, Legacy, in fourth grade. That year they did not take a fourth grade team but I was one of two fourth graders who were selected to play on the fifth grade team. In middle school I have received a physical education award each year. I have been on the Honor roll every semester and have been inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. I am lucky enough to balance my academics with playing year round sports including field hockey, basketball, volleyball and ofcourse lacrosse. I enjoy being a peer mentor at school. During my summers I am fortunate to volunteer for a local community organization ISF, Inclusive Sports Fitness. It is so fulfilling to mentor and help special needs students in physical activity events.
