Erica Smith
Recruit Profile
Coachable, aggressive, team player, high lacrosse IQ, creates transition opportunities, effective on rides. Loves the spirit of competition. Lacrosse was meant to be played, not won.
I started playing lacrosse in 2013 and for most of that time also played soccer through my first year in high school. I am the second oldest of four siblings who all play lacrosse. My older brother now plays for the University of Oklahoma's club team and my younger twin siblings now play for Dana Hills High School (in addition to their respective club teams). When not playing lacrosse you can find me outdoors surfing, skiing, and sometimes playing Xbox.
I am a member of my school's ASU leadership group and have a part time job at a local deli.

Ms. Smith is and will continue to be an important asset to any team due to her team first mentality, tenacity, and LAXIQ. As her newest coach, my first observation was the skills and knowledge her former coaches instilled which are now being enhanced with new physical capabilities. Erica's family is major factor of her success with their support and generational love for this game that all of their kids play. It's unique to have players so well rounded yet constantly striving to improve every aspect of their game AND teammates. I'm available for discussion with any contributors to Erica's success and look forward to her college future.

I have had the pleasure of coaching Erica for two years at the HS club level. Erica is an extremely dedicated lacrosse player who does whatever it takes to push herself to the next level. She doesn't hesitate to ask questions and implements any feedback immediately. Erica has a high LaxIQ and naturally steps into a leadership role on the field. Anyone who is interested in Erica can reach out to me directly for further discussion.
