Erik Foust was named the head coach of the men's lacrosse team at Howard prior to the 2013 season and has led the team to unprecedented heights ever since.

Coach Foust led the Dragons to three straight Md Juco Conference Championships and two consecutive Region 20 championships. His teams went to the NJCAA National Tournament three years in a row including two appearances in the final four and a national runner-up finish in 2017. Foust earned Region 20 Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2018 as he continues to build up a blooming program.

Under his tutelage numerous Howard CC players have represented the South Team in the Under Armour All-America Junior College Showcase and continued their careers at NCAA programs. In addition, nine players have been awarded NJCAA All-American Awards including one in 2016, six in 2017 and two more in 2018.

Coach Foust was previously the offensive coordinator at Howard CC, the head coach at The University of Detroit Jesuit High School, Wilde Lake and Howard High Schools. He was US Lacrosse High School Coach of the Year, both in 2003 and 2007. In 2008 Coach Foust was selected to coach the South Team in the US Lacrosse High School Senior Showcase in Chicago, Illinois.

Throughout his High School coaching career Foust coached 4 High School All Americans, 2 High School Academic All Americans and 25 NCAA DI, DII or DIII players.

As a graduate of Western Michigan University, he played lacrosse and studied physical and health education. At Wayne State University, he earned his Masters of Education in Athletic Administration.

Coach Foust grew up near Detroit, Michigan and currently resides in Catonsville with his wife, son and daughter.
