Erik Hultgren

Erik Hultgren joined Lynchburg's women's lacrosse coaching staff prior to the 2019-20 season as a graduate assistant.

Hultgren is a 2016 graduate of Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pa., boasting a degree in sport management. He was a four-year starting midfielder for the Griffins' men's lacrosse team. As a redshirt-freshman, he helped take Seton Hill to the program's first-ever NCAA Division II tournament appearance.

He served as team captain his senior year, leading the team to an 11-4 record and earning himself All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honors and a spot in the 2016 USILA/Nike North-South All-Star Game.

Hultgren most recently played in Rochdale, England for the Rochdale Lacrosse Club. He also helped coach both the men’s and women’s English National Academy teams in 2019. Erik has also coached his high school alma mater, Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie, Pa., as well as the True Pittsburgh Lacrosse Club.

He is enrolled in Lynchburg's master's in educational leadership program.
