Since sophomore year I have been a captain and starting goalie for my high school's varsity lacrosse team and during my last full season(sophomore year) I had the second highest save percentage and second most saves in my league. Over the summer of 2020 I played for Team 11 2021. Academically, I am ranked #5 out of the 600 students in my class with straight A’s in all honors and AP classes. I am also very active in community and extracurricular activities. I am a 2020 recipient of the Gold Congressional Award (required 400 hours of public service, 200 hours of personal development, 200 hours of physical fitness and a 7 day expedition). In 2019, I won the most outstanding sophomore award. In addition to lacrosse, I am captain of the varsity ice hockey team and, as a member of the chess team, was one of the four students who won the 2019 National Scholastic Chess Tournament for my school. Additionally, I am involved with Future Business Leaders of America and in 2019 was a state finalist for the coding and programming event. I am also involved with Coding Olympiad, founded a drone club for my school and was selected to serve on my local congresswoman's Congressional Student Taskforce and on the school superintendent's student advisory board. I find that my busy schedule has required me to develop excellent time management skills.
