Ever since I can remember, I have always had an interest in trying new things, whether that be books, foods, sports, or anything, really. For me, lacrosse was one of those things. Since I was 9 years old, the game of lacrosse has played a huge role in my life and continues to shape me as an athlete and individual. My devotion to lacrosse is strong, and I firmly believe that being involved in a team is essential to a person's life. The relationships and bonds that I have gained through playing sports is unmatched and I know that I have found lifelong friendships in the process. I play for Gold Coast Lacrosse as well as HTC Field Hockey. Besides lacrosse, I made Varsity Field Hockey my freshman year and swim competitively on the Boys Varsity Swim Team. During my time on the swim team, I had been selected for the SWC All-Conference Academic Team and qualified for SWCs in the 50 Freestyle (PR: 26.36), 100 Freestyle (PR: 1.00.36), 200 Freestyle Relay (Team: 1.50.20), and the 400 Freestyle Relay (Team: 3:35:34) where my team and I medaled 6th, leading us to qualify for States. I am very quick on my feet (6:33 mile) and am more than willing to dedicate my time and effort to achieve greatness, whether that be on or off the field.

I pride myself in academics and my school involvement and work diligently to be the best student I can be. It was with this diligence that I received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence. I actively participate in Relay for Life, Spanish Club and volunteer in the Middle School with the 6th grade Spanish Class during my free time. My sophomore year, I took AP European History, Honors English and Honors Spanish. I am in the Spanish National Honors Society. This year, I am taking AP Spanish, AP Language, Honors Pre - Calc, Honors American History and Physics. Because of these endeavors, I have retained High Honors and have earned a 4.07 GPA, which I will continue to maintain, if not surpass, throughout the rest of my high school and college career.
