Recruit Profile
Communicative, aggressive, coachable, supportive team player, strong lax IQ, multi-position skill set... team community is the way to make things happen!

I started playing lacrosse and tackle football in second grade - both sports helped me develop to be more coachable, confident and aware of how important it is for each piece to fit together on a team. I played both sports until my freshman year in high school (and one year of wrestling) at which point I focused on lacrosse. I have been Varsity since 9th grade, spending most of my time in Defense although I easily switch into Attack/Mid position when my aggressiveness and proficient stick skills are needed. I have played continuously on Club teams since 4th grade, the last few years with the Houlagans either in my grad year or higher. On Defense my favorite style is Zone although I am excellent on man to man; I excel as a crease defender and lead communication.
I am an Honor student and am taking AP English as a Junior. This year I began volunteering in the Writing Lab at school... I love helping others and especially giving back to the youth sports community; I have been a volunteer assistant coach for youth football and lacrosse. I am a USA Lacrosse Youth official and teach Skills Sessions for my Club between seasons. In the Fall I began working in an Assisted Living facility, interacting with retired and disabled elders.
I'm still undecided what major I'd like to follow after High School - I'd love to be creative and to be in a position to help others, just not sure what that would look like - Psychology, Art Therapy, Architecture, Nursing are among the highest choices. What I definitely do know is that I want to play Lacrosse, with a driven team that will be a supportive family wherever my path takes me!
