Lacrosse is my love. Early in life, I competed as a Competition Cheerleader but didn’t feel at home. When my oldest brother helped form the first lacrosse team at high school, I took notice. I watched him grow as a person & athlete. Watching lax games sparked something in me. It was fast, furious & required mental & physical strength. After playing many positions, I found my place- the cage. Goalie teaches me motivation & perseverance. Academics must be a priority to play in high school & at the collegiate level. I work diligently in class to maintain an A average. Developing leadership skills through extracurricular activities benefits me on & off the field. Being an athlete isn’t a one-stop shop; it requires dedication in all areas of life. Hard work & determination continue to drive me.
