I started playing lacrosse the summer before my Freshman year, I found that I'd come "home" - Lacrosse felt right - it felt like something that I was supposed to do, and learning and working at improving, has helped me become stronger, faster, more fearless and courageous in all aspects of my life. I found that I adapted to Lacrosse very quickly and found myself a defensive leader for the teams I play with, but I also an an extremely versatile and solid player that can be utilized where needed. I am a strong mid player and on draw, and very good at feeding the attack, assisting others to score and driving to strong goals when opportunity presents. I also get a large number of breakaways as I am fast on my feet. I have dedicated myself to catching up with those who have played much longer than I have and remaining a competitor at the highest level possible. I am dual handed, a natural Lefty, who plays as a dominant Right Handed, but I can move either direction and adapt quickly. I played Varsity as Freshman and I also play on my JV Soccer team. I take Honors English, even though I am Dyslexic and I was the Miss Satellite Beach Teen USA 2019 - offering me a platform to advance important causes and to build lifelong friendships with other Girls who are working to build their own future, instead of waiting around hoping something good will happen. We support each other and this opportunity has shown me how I can chase my dreams, overcome challenges and constantly work to improve my self - both as an athlete, and a student but also as a human being.
