My full name is Francoise O'Brien, but I go by Franny. I have played lacrosse since I was 8 years old. Since that age, I have also played competitive basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. I am a tri-varsity athlete at Sacred Heart Greenwich. I play right back on SHG's varsity soccer team. I am a two season varsity basketball player, and lacrosse player as well. In the spring of 2019, Sacred Heart's varsity lacrosse team won the FAA Championship and our record was 18-1.

I am very comfortable with both hands and transitioning the ball. I am aggressive, gritty, and disciplined. I am versatile and can play whatever position my team needs. I give 110% during every drill and every game. I am coachable, driven, and extremely hardworking. I am dominant on 50-50 balls, I have great one-v-one defending skills, and I communicate well.

Not only am I accomplished on the field or court, but in the classroom as well. I am a two year Honor Roll student at Sacred Heart and a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. I took the highest level classes available to me sophomore year and this year I am doing the same. I am enrolled in AP United States History, AP Calculus AB, Anatomy and Physiology Honors, American Literature Honors, French III Honors, Theology: Christian Ethics, and Programming with Python. I am interested in the environment and engineering and went to the CT STEM Fair, where in 2020 my partner and I won our category. I also take an additional math class, Seminar in Mathematical Problem Solving II and partake in math contests throughout the year.
