Fynn is a cerebral and athletic defenseman that has been a primary cog in our 2023 team defense for 4 years. On Ball he plays with great balance and a low pad level, often goading attackmen in to a poor position where he can strike or draw a double team. He is patient, but ever present with his stick checks as his positioning is so strong it allows him to check without sacrificing position. Off Ball, he is an active part of the defense and maintains immaculate positioning. He is an intuitive slider and an effective communicator. When the ball hits the ground Fynn is always one of the players in the mix and often the one who comes up with it. He has developed in to a capable transition player with the pole. He could project as an LSM at the next level, though we have primarily played him at close defense for his strength in matching up with attackmen. Fynn is a well rounded three sport athlete that is well liked by teammates and coaches alike. He is a strong student and I have no doubt he will be a significant contributor.

Having coached Fynn at the youth level all the way to the HS club level I have had the opportunity to watch him grow into a speedy, versatile pole in the transition game as well have the ability to see the field in a way that you cannot teach. He is a tenacious defender with great stick skills and a tough man defender with hard on point checks. A phenomenal young man with a contagious personality and likeability within his teammates and community. Fynn is always finding ways to make his team and himself better. Fynn's greatest asset is his heart, always determined to improve himself and his teammates to play to the best of their abilities, he is a great lacrosse player and an even better human being. He comes from a fantastic family that has always encouraged him through the years. I truly believe Fynn will be a great addition to any program and look forward to watching him succeed at the next level.
