I have been playing lacrosse since I was 8 years old. Through my many years of playing lacrosse I have played every position on the field. In my freshman year I made the varsity lacrosse team, the JV soccer team, and the JVC basketball team. As a goalie in soccer I was voted most improved by my teammates and I had the most turnovers and most points scored on my basketball team. For all of these sports I was also awarded a scholar athlete award. During the summer I compete for a summer swim league. In the Varsity lacrosse program at my school I was named defensive captain as a sophomore. Midway through sophomore season I was moved to the attack and midfield where I scored many goals. At the end of the season I was given the coach’s award as well as the most versatile player. As a sophomore I took all honors classes and AP Computer Science and AP World History along with a college level chemistry course, the hardest possible course load for a sophomore. As a junior I am taking 3 AP classes and a college level German class. I am also on varsity soccer. I participate in many clubs including ski and snowboard club and St Vincent de Paul. I was voted vice president of the Spirit Club. I also participate in numerous retreats and leadership opportunities through my school. I am a tutor through the National Honors Society, a mentor for the freshman, and a student ambassador which focuses on reaching out to possible Blanchet students and making them feel comfortable at school.
