Strong defender, very athletic player, can play anywhere on the field, coachable, and a multi-sport varsity athlete.
I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade, and despite starting later than most I picked it up rather quickly. After realizing my love for the game I decided to start playing for X-Treme Lax Factory in 8th grade. I'm a very athletic player and can be put anywhere on the field as my high lacrosse IQ allows for that. Although defense is my passion, my determination and versatility allow me to play any position. I always look to take on the strongest player on the field and never back down from a challenge. I am a leader on the defensive end and communicate extremely well with my teammates. Playing basketball has helped to improve my game tremendously, with my ability to see the field and look for off ball movement.
Throughout my high school career, I've managed being a two sport varsity athlete with my academics. As far as achievements go, I've been on both the honor and high honor roll, received minds in motion, earned the presidential award for athletics, and obtained a varsity letter freshman year. Along with my academics I participate in G.E.M.S. (Girls Excelling In Math and Science) Club. I take AP History and numerous honors classes, and hold high expectations for myself in each of them. Throughout the years I've helped volunteer with our town's youth basketball program and participated in Girl Scouts as well.
