Gigi is an absolute pleasure to coach. She is the type of player that coaches wish for. The type of athlete that doesnt come around often. The gritty, scrappy, talented midfielder that makes her presence known. She is always working harder than the next girl and striving to compete. Gigi is someone that you can play in any position on the field and be confident that she will do her job. She understands the game very well and is always looking to learn.

Gigi is confident on and off the field. She drives hard to goal, boxes out aggressively on the circle, works hard on the redefend, and is feisty on ground balls. Gigi is the kind of player you want on your team and don’t want to play against. She brings amazing energy to any team she plays on. The thing that impresses me the most about Gigi is as a freshman she played with more confidence than a lot of players I’ve come across and when Gigi is on the sideline she brings that some confidence, support and energy for her teammates.

If I could use one word to describe Gigi, it would be GRIT. From endline to endline, she hustles, is aggressive, and makes an impact for her teammates. I can put her in any position and I know she will thrive. Gigi is a strong presence on the draw; boxing out and fighting for each GB. She provides tough help-defense and is reliable during the midfield transition. On attack, she is constantly moving to create opportunities. Both her finesse and power shots are top notch. Any team would be lucky to have this extremely coachable, aggressive, and supportive player!
