Gillian is a resilient, hard working defender. I have coached her since 2017 where she was apart of a two time national championship team. As a multi sport athlete Gillian has an exception eye on the field. She is unselfish and a great person overall. Gillian plays defense with the mentality of getting the ball back and causing turnovers rather than preventing the opposing team from scoring. An outstanding team player and leader.

Gillian is the kid every coach wants on her team. She is an extremely smart defender who plays angles perfectly. Knows her slides and is comfortable in a man or zone. She is strong physically and vocally. She is also an instant team chemistry builder.

Gillian is an aggressive defender who is always two steps ahead of her attacker. She can always anticipate their next move, and is ready to pounce. Gillian is vocal, strong, and has great feet. She has caused many turnovers with her relentless ride on the clear.

Gillian is a smart, aggressive takeaway defender who works well in both zone and man defenses. She is able to cause turnovers in the midfield ride and she is comfortable driving the ball up the field to contribute to the attack. She is hard working, receptive and a great teammate
