My name is Gordon Beck, and I am a 18 year old student athlete at Flagler Palm Coast High School. I want to pursue my dreams with playing lacrosse at the next level, college. I am a hard, dedicated student, and athlete. I brought my GPA up from a 1.8 my freshman year to now a 3.3 at the start of my senior year. I understand that my test scores may not be the highest, but I work very hard in the classroom to keep my grades at A's and being respectful to my teachers and peers. For me personally, I make sure all my classwork and homework is done before I step out onto the practice/game field. What makes me different from other recruits is that I have a positive attitude and I never give up no matter the task. Despite whatever the scoreboard says, I always try to bring the morale of my team up. If I am not doing schoolwork or playing lacrosse, I go to the gym and workout. Since the start of this, I lost 45 pounds going from 225 to 180! With all of this said, I think I am a good candidate for your team, and school!
