Grace Denious
Recruit Profile
A determined, coachable, reliable multi-sport, student-athlete with a competitive drive and a passion for team play
I first picked up a lacrosse stick in 1st grade and have loved the sport ever since. I played midfield for the Wilton travel team growing up and after playing a summer of Sound Lacrosse in 6th grade, my sister encouraged me to join her former club team, Gold Coast. Since then I have been playing midfield on the 2022 Gold team, where my teammates and I have become comfortable with one another, learning to play to each other's strengths. During the school year, I made the varsity team as a freshman at The Taft School, giving me a great opportunity to be on the field with older, more experienced players. Throughout my lacrosse career, I have found a passion in midfield because I find it just as rewarding to stop a goal as I do scoring or assisting a goal. I pride myself on my stick stills as I feel comfortable using my nondominant hand in all aspects of the game. Additionally, I am a multi-sport athlete. I played on the JV soccer and 3rds hockey team at Taft this year. Academically, I achieved high honors my freshmen year and plan to take honors and AP courses next year. In my free time, I love to sail, ski, play tennis, and spend time with my family.

Meredith Meyran
Grace is a talented midfielder who impacts play all over the field. She does a great job anticipating the play defensively and is always a threat on the offensive end, both from dynamic cutting and drives to cage.
Meghan Johnston
Grace is a dominant fixture in all facets of the game. She's great on ground balls on the draw circle, excellent in transition, strong drive to the cage with multiple dodges and approaches, and she's gritty on defense. She's driven to succeed in the classroom as well.
