I love playing all kinds of sports. I have played lacrosse for 10 years, soccer for 12 years, and basketball for 8 years. Each week, I volunteer at an after school program for elementary aged kids helping them with their homework and reading. I have a passion for helping kids and coaching sports, so I am lucky to be able to coach third grade basketball and a K­-2nd grade lacrosse group. Coaching little kids helps me become more responsible and patient while helping the kids learn about the aspects of being part of a team; teamwork, leadership, and hard work.
My freshman year, I started varsity lacrosse and basketball. Being a part of a varsity lacrosse team has shown me what it means to be a team player and work your hardest at all times. I am constantly finding ways to improve my game whether through stick work and fitness or feedback.
I take all honors classes and am looking forward to taking more AP classes next year. I'm also part of a club at my school that helps kids with autism improve their learning and social skills.
