Hallie McDaniel
Recruit Profile
Coachable and great work ethic. Competitive, determined and aggressive. Leader on and off the field. Excellent communicator, respectful and positive attitude. Strong lax IQ, blessed to have had amazing coaches!
I grew up loving sports. I played soccer, flag football, tennis, swim team, and competed in junior triathlons. I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade. I fell in love with the game watching my brother play. I was a starting varsity attack and midfield player as a freshman at Denmark High School. Freshman year I earned the Team MVP Award. I was also selected to 2nd team All-County and All State Honorable Mention. I was the leading scorer on my high school team both freshman and sophomore years.
I ran track and played basketball in middle school, and I played volleyball my freshman year. I learned a lot from each sport I played, however, lacrosse is the sport I am most passionate about. I am a versatile player playing both midfield and attack. I also excel in draw controls on both my club and high school teams. I am eager to improve every day.
I work very hard at school and I have taken many AP and Honors courses. I plan to continue to push myself academically in my Junior and Senior years. I am working on completing a Sports Marketing pathway as well as completing AP Spanish. I am a leader for FCA at my school. I also volunteer at my church and I lead a small group of middle school girls. I went on a mission trip to El Salvador with my church in the summer of 2019 that was very eye-opening. My faith is very important to me and has shaped me into the person I am. I have two loving parents, two younger sisters, and a younger brother who all love lacrosse.
