I have played lacrosse since the age of 7 and until high school also played competitive basketball when I chose to devote my athletic endeavors to lacrosse year round. I have played for the Lakeshore National team and the last two year with the True Illiniois State team. I joined True as a defensive player but the last year have played all field positions leveraging my speed and aggression. I have been on Student Council since freshman year, am the youngest editor of the school magazine and paper where I won an award in 2019 for Graphic Design Layout. This year I was chosen to be a freshman mentor and also chosen to represent my high school at the National Scholastic Press Association at their convention in Washington D.C. For the last five years I have been an active volunteer with Access Sports, a program allowing differently abled children the opportunity to play sports. I have also coached 6th grade girls lacrosse for the last three years. I am currently enrolled in all honors classes with a 4.75 GPA.
