Lacrosse is a big part of my life. It has taught me time management and discipline. I have been playing for about 4 years and have loved it every step of the way. I've played with a few teams and have been able to create a strong bond with each team. Each team has been more competitive than the last, making me strive to improve my game and intensity. There is a role I am expected to play in both games and practice. My goal is to live up to those expectations so that I don't let my team or myself down. Being competitive, understanding my role, and putting in extra work have resulted in winning defensive MVP 3 seasons in a row and team MVP one season. I also aim to be my best on the volleyball court, on the track, as a student council member and in the classroom. But, it is lacrosse that helps me push myself out of my comfort zone to reach my highest potential. It has helped me become a leader. I like to take charge when needed and my teachers have noticed that. I was nominated by several of my teachers for my school's district leadership program. That has given me some of the tools to succeed on and off the field. Lacrosse has given me a hunger for success!
