Recruit Profile
Hardworking, disciplined, athletic player with high stamina, good in transition
Being a second-generation immigrant, my parents have told me that you can accomplish anything as long as you work hard. I have stuck with those words since I was in middle school, when things started to matter.
I began playing a season before freshman year of high school because of my older brother who played. I began playing as a long pole because my brother was one and those are the only kind of sticks that we had in the house. I figured LSM would be the best position for me because I ran a lot, so I was quick on my feet and had a defensive mindset. Playing the sport was the most fun thing that I have ever done and by the end of my freshman year starting on JV, I played and practiced with the Varsity team during playoffs.
After realizing how much I loved the game, I started getting better at it too. I realized that I wasn't bad. I started on the Varsity team sophomore year. It wasn't because of my size, but the way I played with intensity. After the season I competed at the club level and it made me want to play at the collegiate level. I thought of my future and academics play a huge role in that, but I began to think that so did lacrosse. I wanted to do both.
It is now my senior and I began to think of my future aspirations. I aspire to be in the healthcare industry, and thanks to one of my classes, I will become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant by the end of my junior year. I am looking for a program that can suit me athletically and academically. I believe that I have the capability to join and strive on a program due to my hard work, positivity, and athleticism.
