I started playing lacrosse when I was 10. I have always been head and shoulders above the rest in my class and at least 25 pounds on classmates so naturally everyone asked my family if I would play on their football team. But from the first time I had a stick in my hand I was hooked. I played soccer, baseball, and swimming, but as I got older I focused more on lax year round. I started on a travel team in 4th grade. A highlight of my youth experience was going to the World Series of Youth Lacrosse in 2016. When high school came around I was honored to be to be a starting defender on varsity. I have been able to balance a rigorous academic schedule at Colorado Academy along with being able to play other sports while still focusing on lacrosse year round. I feel blessed to be surrounding by excellent coaches along the way from Randy Colley from Notre Dame to having John Grant Jr as my youth coach plus all the amazing coaches at 3d nationally. My father was a college athlete as well as a playing professional after graduating (golf). He has helped instill a strong and balanced sports philosophy and workout regime to balance out my large frame while still keeping me quick on my feet. Outside of sports and training I spend time working with Karen refugee children from Thailand-Burma region who are living in the Denver area. I love spending time with these kids tutoring them and teaching them about sports.
