I'm a 2023 sophomore at Fairfield Prep, in Fairfield, CT. and am a two-sport athlete playing both lacrosse and football. I play club lacrosse for Long Island Express North 2023 lacrosse year round with tournaments in the Summer and Fall. The film in my profile was from this past 2020 Summer and Fall tournaments. Academics are a strong focus of mine as well and I'm taking all available AP courses with a 3.7 GPA with a Magna Cum Laude designation.
I'm 15, 6'0, and 185lbs. I'm a close defender always looking to make a play whether shutting down my opponent, creating fast breaks for my offense, or being a quick outlet for my goalie. My goal has remained the same since I first started competing in travel lacrosseto play division 1 lacrosse for a university that provides academic excellence and prepares me to be successful in the next stages of life. I certainly understand those are lofty goals that many other student athletes like myself have, but I guess what makes me different would be my focus, desire, competitiveness, and most importantly, the actions Im taking to make that goal a reality.
I have been strength and conditioning training for the past 2 years and this year I have ramped up on both areas. On top of my practices and workouts for both football and lacrosse, Im working out twice a day, 6 days/week with agility training in the morning and then strength training in the evening. Being a linebacker in football definitely keeps me in top shape all year round, but more importantly helps me with aggression and leverage. Lastly being in all AP classes I have a much larger workload than most students, and need to efficiently manage my time to ensure my grades are in line with my expectations.
I truly believe I have the tangibles to be one of the top defenders in the country, but what Im most proud of are the intangibles that separate me from the others. I strive to be the best defender, linebacker, and student. Talent is great to have, but having a strong work ethic, and never say cant attitude are the qualities Im most excited about bringing to the next program I play for.
