I started playing lacrosse at 10 years old. I was a travel softball player before falling in love with this sport. During my 8th grade year I started to volunteer my time during Recreation season to coach young players during their first season of lacrosse, with the West Tampa Wolves. For all of my Club teams I have been in the top 5 of goal scorers, and either #1 or #2 in total points. During my freshman season of high school, I led the team in all statistical categories, both offensive and defensive. I was also named Tampa Bay Lacrosse Player of the Week, the first award given to a player at my high school. I mainly play Midfield, but can run X as the main facilitator or scoring option just as well. I can finish with both hands and my crease rolls and interior dodging/ stick work is a strong suit. My open field awareness in finding the right Lacrosse Play to make is something I pride myself in. Making a great assist brings just as much joy as scoring a goal. From the 8 meter, I can either rip a stationary shot, or take it to the crease, depending on defenders around me. On the defensive side, I love to cause a turnover and make a pass to a teammate to get a fast break going or drive hard to goal to either take it myself or draw the defense to find an open teammate for a quick score. I am in all Honors classes and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am taking Aerospace Technology classes at my school that are taught through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, that upon my 4th year I will have a private pilots license. Since 7th grade I have also payed basketball for my schools and a couple of travel seasons. At my high school, I started out on the JV team but ended the season on the Varsity team. Although I am not that tall, I was asked to transition from the point guard to a forward/center due to my toughness and no backing down from anything attitude. This year I have also joined the school weightlifting team, with the goal of getting even stronger for lacrosse.
