Isabelle Difato
Recruit Profile
Dominant on draw. Reliable in transition. Strong defender. High Lax IQ. Give 100%. Coachable team player. 4.48 GPA, disciplined student and athlete.
I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade. After playing many other sports at a competitive level (swimming, basketball, cross country, gymnastics), lacrosse was my favorite. I love that each game is a new opportunity. Playing midfield I get to be involved in the whole game from offense to defense. I do my best when I am challenged. I thrive under pressure. Competition gives me purpose.
Ive been a starting varsity player at Bartram Trail HS both freshman and sophomore year. I take the draw most of the time. My freshman year I had 104 Draw Controls, 20 Goals (71% shot percentage), 5 Assists, 13 Caused Turnover, 21 Ground Balls, 4 Interceptions and was named Rookie of the Year. We did not have much of a 2020 season, in which I had 55 Draw Controls, 18 Goals, 5 Assists, 17 Ground Balls, 3 Interceptions.
I am in the Vystar Business Academy at Bartram Trail HS. I received the Outstanding Student Award my freshman year. This summer I was selected to be a Student Intern with Vystar Bank. Since being trained this summer, I now work at Vystar Bank on Saturdays.
I am an all A honor roll student, taking several AP classes each year. Currently I am taking 4 AP's (Bio, Environmental, US History and Literature). My grade point average is 4.48 and I am 12th in my class of 739 students. I am undecided on a major but I am concerned about the environment and am interested in Environmental Science and Business.
My freshman year I played JV Basketball at Bartram Trail. I was starting point guard. I have helped coached Girls Rec Lacrosse in our area and am a referee for Girls Rec Lacrosse as well.
I believe the physical and mental challenge of lacrosse has helped me be a better student and person. Ive met my best friends through lacrosse. I love being part of a team that works hard and wants to be champions. My high school team wants to be State Champs before we graduate. I believe we will accomplish this in 2021 and 2022.
