Jackson Chase
Recruit Profile
Very coachable, disciplined, play with my head up, very good finisher, determined, team player, multi-sport athlete, strong lax IQ, very fast first step while dodging
I started playing lacrosse in kindergarten and have been playing club lacrosse since I was in 3rd grade. I have been on the highest team for my age level at my club since I started. I attended two years of high school at Norwell High School before I re-classed for the 2021-2022 academic year to Tabor Academy and am now in the class of 2024. I was a full season varsity starter my sophomore season at Norwell High after my freshmen season was canceled due to Covid. During my sophomore season, I was the second on the team in points, scoring 39 goals and having 18 assists as an attackman. In addition to lacrosse, I was on the varsity ski team and JV soccer team at NHS and play varsity soccer at Tabor academy. I enjoy classes in history and science at school and have worked hard during my academic career to maintain at least honor roll for every semester thus far. Outside of academics and sports, while at Norwell High School, I was a member of the Volunteer Corps, the Student-Athlete Advisory committee and a volunteer coach at Kings lacrosse club. I look forward to getting involved with additional volunteer opportunities at Tabor Academy.
Write up from Matt Chandick: "Chase makes it a point to dodge hard every time he gets the ball. He won't sit back, hemming and hawing about where he wants to go. Rather, Chase plants his foot in the ground and goes right to the rack. He stayed within the framework of the offense and showed a nifty handle and toughness inside to rack up a couple of goals."
