Mumford comes to Oberlin in Summer 2021 after a successful stint as a graduate assistant coach at McDaniel College.

Mumford played a vital role in the recruiting process as well as film analysis and practice plan execution and development.

After starting his collegiate playing career at Division I Towson, Mumford played his final three seasons as a defenseman at Gettysburg College. A 2019 team captain, Mumford helped the Bullets reach the Centennial Conference Championship three times and the NCAA Final Four in 2018.

Nominated to play in the North/South All-Star game, he briefly served as the interim head coach at McDaniel and also has experience coaching girl's lacrosse at the youth level.

Mumford graduated from Gettysburg in 2019 with a degree in English Literature. He will also hold additional duties on campus in residential life.
