I started playing lacrosse in kindergarten. I have a huge passion for the game. It is a big part of who I am. I am an excellent leader on and off the field. I am a very hard worker and extremely coachable. I received a team award this season as a sophomore for dedication, leadership, and commitment to the sport of lacrosse. It meant a great deal to me because it was voted on by the seniors.

I do not play for personal awards or recognition. I play the game to help my team win. Team always comes first with me. I also believe I am an excellent team mate and roll model. I love competition and love to win. It drives me.

I have been a varsity starter in Canandaigua since my freshman year. I also was awarded 2nd team all league as a defensive mid-fielder that year. My sophomore year I had several roles mostly as a close defender and at LSM when needed. I led the team in takes, and was second in ground balls by a defender. I was also used a lot as the center-fielder in our 10 man ride. I have excellent stick skills along with speed and quickness which makes me very effective at clearing the ball. I was awarded 2nd team all league as a close defender this year.

Academically I work very hard. I am currently taking honors English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have a 93% average in those subject areas. I have not taken the SAT's or ACT's yet but plan on doing well on them. I understand that I am a student first. I gravitate naturally towards science and math. I am interested in pursuing engineering in college.

I also play varsity football and have started both ways through out my career. I also enjoy training in the weight room, in the gym, and on the track to prepare for my season. I love training and know the importance of it. I give back to my community as often as I can. I have been regularly involved in the community meal, canned food drives at Christmas time, and have volunteered at our local V.A. hospital for the past 3 years.
