Jacob has strong stick skills and defensive awareness. As a freshman, he worked his way into the starting spot by beating out a senior. His determination and love for the game is unmatched. One on one he does not get beat topside and plays smart simple, great position defense. He is always all over he offenders glove and forces his opponents to go the way he wants them to go. Off ball he is a leader and quick to recognize the 1st and 2nd slide. Jacob has told me since middle school that he is determined to play in a college that is the best for for him. Any coach would love this addition to their roster. Aside from being a solid all around lacrosse player he is an all around great young man who will be an impact player on and off the field.

Jacob is a strong on ball defender that plays with poise and balance while also throwing ferocious checks. He is intuitive off ball, sniffing out well timed double teams and slides. He has a very capable stick in transition. Jacob can be trusted to carry the ball and make the right decision when necessary in the clear.
