Jacob Mann
Recruit Profile
Coachable, tenacious player, strong vision of the field and knowledge of the game.
I am interested in the law enforcement field, specifically Forensic Science. During my sophomore year I took AP Biology and Honors Pre-Calculous, English, and History. Additionally, I was Inducted into the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society, English Honor Society, and History Honor Society. In my Junior year I took AP Statistics, AP Calculous (AB), and AP English as well as Honors Anatomy and Physiology. In my senior year I am taking AP English, Honors Forensic Science, Honors Organic/Biochemistry, Psychology, and Criminal justice. I am also an officer for Key Club and HOSA as well as the Vice-President of National Honor Society.
Athletically, I received my varsity letter for both lacrosse and soccer my sophomore year. Although my sophomore year Lacrosse season was canceled due to Covid-19, I was a varsity starter for both Soccer and Lacrosse in my Junior year. I earned NJAC All Academic Team and NJAC Second Team all conference for soccer. For lacrosse I earned NJAC Honorable Mention All Conference, NJAC All Academic Team, 1st Team All League, and Defensive Player of the Year on my high school team. This year I am Captain of the Soccer team and look forward to being a leader on the Lacrosse team.
In addition to working hard on the field and in the classroom, I also volunteer as often as possible. I do this through my schools chapter of Key Club, an international service organization for high school students. Further, I take part in The Vernon Coalition, an anti-drug and peer support group in my town. Here, I take place in anti-drug fundraisers and activities as well as mentoring my younger peers.
