I started playing lacrosse at a young age, and got lots of experience with my local team (Wisslax) and my club team (Dukes), box lacrosse leagues, and attending several camps and clinics over the off-seasons. In high school, I have gotten good experience playing on varsity since I was a freshmen, going up against kids who were bigger and more experienced than me. In high school, after a busy summer after my freshmen season, and then COVID during my sophomore summer, I was unable to participate in club lacrosse. However, as my junior season approached and our team had an opportunity to make a run at states, I trained on my own and with teammates throughout the pandemic, and fall and winter seasons, and was able to have a breakout season this year. My game is founded around a high lacrosse IQ from my experience, and an ability to be coached and make adjustments to my game as needed. I also draw on the endurance and speed gained through cross country training, and the upper body strength and agility gained through diving training, in order to succeed as a well-rounded player.
