Rippey brings a wealth of knowledge to the Mill City.

Joining the River Hawks in August 2021 after a nine-year tenure at the helm of the Framingham State women’s lacrosse team.

Entrusted with rebuilding the Ram’s women’s lacrosse program, Rippey helped Framingham State develop steadily through the years, culminating in the team’s first MASCAC Regular Season Championship in 2019.

Despite the 2020 campaign being shortened due to COVID-19, Rippey led the Rams to an 8-2 record in 2021 to earn a share of the MASCAC Regular Season Title and a trip to the MASCAC title game for the third straight year. Under his tutelage, the Rams finished the 2021 campaign ranked No. 1 in the North in the NCAA Regional Rankings and finished second in New England in DIII in assists.

In addition to his experience with Framingham State, Rippey also worked with the Bay State Bullets club lacrosse program based in Framingham.

Before joining the Rams, Rippey spent 13 seasons coaching high school sports around the Boston area. A graduate of Boston College with degrees in mathematics and history, Rippey obtained a master’s degree in teaching from Northeastern University in 2012.

In addition to his time with the women’s lacrosse program, Rippey also served as an assistant football coach and the Intramurals Coordinator at Framingham State.
