I started playing lacrosse in third grade and joined my club team in eighth. I was a starting midfielder and draw taker for my high school's varsity team freshman year and scored the most goals on the team. Sophomore year I was promoted to varsity team captain. I also ran for my school's track and field team for the indoor season. Lacrosse is just one of my many passions. Along with lacrosse I am an honor roll student, frequent volunteer, and multi-club member, in most of which I have a leadership position. Volunteering and helping my community is something I am very passionate about. I have been a member of my public library's teen advisory board for the past three years. This year I am President and last year I was Vice-President. My other leadership positions include: editor of school newspaper, Palatine Promise leader and ambassador, nominated Presidents club member, selected member and leader of Youth Equity Stewardship, and elected board member of Junior class. I have also participated in math team, scholastic bowl team, creative writing club, book club, ecology club, and aquarium club. Outside of school I am a lacrosse coach for Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association and a local ice cream shop.
