With over 7 years of lacrosse experience, including 3 years on Kings, I made my varsity lacrosse team as a freshman. Unfortunately, I missed most of my season to a broken thumb. In December, I was invited to play in my first National tournament in Florida with Nation's Best. I'll be playing with them again this summer in Lake Placid. Playing with some of the best lacrosse players in the country made me realize that I can compete on a higher level, but I have areas to improve.

As a lacrosse player, I am aggressive and use my size and strength to force turnovers. I can take the ball up the field and am not afraid of pressure. I lead by example and always put my team first. By spending a lot of time in the weight room, I have become bigger and stronger, greatly improving my game.

As well as playing lacrosse, I am a referee for Pembroke Youth Lacrosse which has given me a better understanding of the game. I am also a starting linebacker on my high school's varsity football team. I pride myself on my academic successes, taking all Honors courses while maintaining a 4.3 GPA. Freshman year, I received the Excellence in Latin Underclassman Award, meaning I had one of the two highest yearly grades. This summer, I will be heading to Central Appalachia for a week with the Appalachia Service Project to repair homes for people who do not have the money to do it themselves.
